Süleymaniye Mosque

This post has been sitting as an unwritten draft for weeks now. Why? Largely because I'm just too lazy to think of things to say about yet another mosque. Not that the Süleymaniye Mosque isn't magnificent, because it is. Like some of its cousins, Süleymaniye is painted, marbled, stain glassed, and inlaid...but unlike them there's not a tile insight. Is that why I can't think of anything to say? Do I need the beautiful blues and whites and sometimes reds of Iznik tiles to gush about a mosque? No. I'm just lazy. So instead of letting this continue to sit in the drafts section of our posts list I am simply going to post the pictures without any comment or ado from me, and let you comment instead :)
